2022 Scholarship Awards Dinner

Our members came out to celebrate the winners of our first annual scholarship essay contest!

For our first annual scholarship essay contest, Juniors and Seniors in high schoolers across Alameda County were tasked with answering the question: How should a Libertarian government respond to a local or state political controversy of your choosing? for the chance to win up to $1,500 to use however they would like. After reading through all the essays, the scholarship committee selected Calyn L's essay for the first place prize and Mia B's for the second. Both winners were awarded cheques and plaques at the dinner, where they read their essays for LPAC members!

Calyn L's essay on competitive schools and can be read here and Mia B's essay on the homelessness crisis and can be read here.
