Election Meeting - In Person

Attendees: Jim Eyer, Jamie Dluzak, Michelle Ellison, Calvin Lu, Terry Floyd, John Ferrero, Michael Lema, Darren Gill, Theodore Gercken, Victoria Lapacek, Elizabeth Stump, Angel Patrin, J.J. Gutierrez

John Ferrero called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and opened our election of new officers. John offered to serve another term as chair, but called for nominations from the floor. Hearing none, Jim Eyer moved to re-elect John by acclamation. Darren Gill seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

Our current vice-chair Jim Eyer nominated Betz Stump as his successor. Betz accepted the nomination and since no other candidates were nominated, Ms. Stump was elected by a unanimous vote.

Hearing no nominations for Treasurer, Michelle Ellison was unanimously re-elected to serve another term.

Current Secretary Terry Floyd was open to passing that duty to another volunteer, and Michael Lema offered his services. Hearing no further nominations, the Chair asked if Terry would continue to perform the duties until Mr. Lema had paid dues and signed the NAP and train his successor. Upon the Secretary’s agreement, the body voted to elect Michael Lema as Secretary of the LP of Alameda County for 2021.

Three attendees were nominated for the At-Large Executive Committee seats, Theodore Gercken, Jim Eyer and Darren Gill, all of whom were elected unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
