NATIONAL LIBERTARIAN DAY OF SERVICE: Alameda County Event

This Saturday, May 1st, is the inaugural National Libertarian Day of Service!
The Libertarian Party of Alameda County is participating in this nation-wide event by doing a double volunteer effort with 1) trash pick-up at Lake Chabot and 2) collection of money and non-perishable food items for League of Volunteers (https://lov.org), out of Newark, donating food to the homeless and needy.
We will be meeting in the parking lot of Lake Chabot at 7:30am. Parking in the lot costs money ($5), but parking on the street is free. Trash bags, gloves and other equipment will be passed out to volunteers. Michael Lema, LPAC member, will be collecting non-perishable foods and cash donations for League of Volunteers, to be delivered Monday.
