LPAC August "Social Protest" BBQ

LPAC Summer Speakeasy BBQ
August 16, 2020
RSVP to betz@lpac.us by Friday, Aug 14, 6pm to receive location details
(Please mention if there are any vegans/vegetarians in your group and how many, to plan food accordingly.)

We are living through an extraordinary time when the right of the people to freely assemble and petition the Government for a redress of grievances has indeed been abridged, not by Congress, but by our state and local politicians. Because we oppose the cult of the omnipotent state, the Libertarian Party of Alameda County feels this is intolerableTherefore we plan to continue our tradition of hosting an outdoor event every August in preparation for our annual Wine & Liberty fundraiser in the final weeks before the November election. We would like to push the envelope next month and actually socialize physically - but distantly in a large open area on private property (approximately 3/4 of an acre).
This is an invitation-only event and individuals are free to wear masks and any personal protective equipment they feel necessary for their own safety. Self ownership requires accepting personal responsibility for your decision to participate and respect for the choices of others to do as they wish. To protect everyone and minimize risk to participants, we will carefully prepare and serve individual plates to all who RSVP. We will provide disposable plates, utensils and other necessary supplies, but everyone should feel free to BYOB.  Well behaved dogs welcomed too, as there are free range chickens on the property
RSVP to Elizabeth Stump for GPS coordinates to the Top Secret Speakeasy entrance and allow us to prepare adequate food for everyone brave enough to celebrate with us in the land of unquestioned obedience and the home of the timid.
Donations $ welcomed to help offset the cost of food/materials to host.
