It's December! This month it's a chance to meet up with fellow liberty loving friends, chat, celebrate the holidays and complain about the upcoming election cycle in 2020.
There will be an optional White Elephant/Re-Gifting Gift Exchange option, for those of who want to declutter before the holidays, or if you buy something new, keep it to $10 and under. Baked goods always welcomed. Strictly optional. Don't put your name on your gift, keep it anonymous.
As always, buy your own food and drink. They will take multiple cards for check payment at end of night, or bring cash for easiest option to cover yourself.
You can RSVP at betz@lpac.us or on our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2134941853467837/
Side Note: Buffalo Bills was the first brewpub to open in the nation when laws were overturned to allow consumption of alcohol and food on premises at breweries. Proof that less laws means better drinking and eating options, and consumer choice.
Wikipedia: Buffalo Bill's Brewery is the first brewpub in America. Buffalo Bill's opened their doors on September 9, 1983, and brewed their first batch of beer on August 2, 1983. In 2018, Buffalo Bill's was inducted into the Smithsonian American History Museum as one of the most historic brewpubs in America.
Before 1983, it was illegal for a brewer to sell directly to the consumer, but that changed in 1982 when Assemblyman, Tom Bates, wrote California Assembly Bill 3610. This bill allowed brewers to sell directly to consumers provided food was served. On January 1, 1983 it became law and the term "brewpub" was officially coined.
